Yoomi the cat yet is ready for a perfect Sunday. It’s off to a rocky start, though, when the shirt she wants to wear is in the laundry and there’s no seaweed for her kimbap breakfast. So after opting for a different shirt and breakfast, Yoomi and Daddy take a bus to Koreatown. There they read Korean books, eat Korean treats and visit Grandma. In the end, she discovers that even though things don’t always go her way, an imperfect day can be even better than what she had imagined. This sweet story celebrates family and Korean culture, and includes a recipe for kimbap.
