At Epic, we value people of all genders, ethnicities, religions and cultures throughout the globe. We believe that now, more than ever, it’s important to celebrate the unique backgrounds and traditions that make up our society—and that teaching kids to appreciate and respect different experiences and perspectives can help this and future generations build a better world.
What is Diversity Month?
Glad you asked! This celebration was created in 2004 to honor the differences and similarities of people from all walks of life to help us cultivate a deeper understanding of each other. To honor this special month, we rounded up some of our favorite kids’ books to showcase diverse experiences and encourage acceptance, understanding, empathy and inclusion. Celebrate with your kid by exploring four weeks of diversity-themed books and activities.
