He is particularly fond of working with light and color in his illustrations He is active on and draws inspiration from Instagram ABOUT THE TRANSLATOR PERCY LEED Percy Leed writes nonfiction books for children covering topics from sports to science He lives in Minneapolis Minnesota The Green Girls is his first graphic novel translation ALBERTO ZANON Alberto Zanon is an illustrator based in Italy He graduated from the Scuola del Fumetto di Milano and the Disney Academy Milano In addition to his work on graphic novels he has been a character designer and concept artist since 1998 ROBERTA PIERPAOLI Roberta Pierpaoli has worked as a background artist for cartoons and illustrated several books for the Italian publishers Piemme Edizioni Cronaca di Topolina and Tatai Lab She has also contributed to graphic novels for French publishers such as Soleil and Jungle
