to see details The animal was low to the ground It was rounded and heavy with thick brown fur A bear Mitch backed away Hey he shouted The animal stopped moving It let out a low grunt and squinted It’s early for bears to be out he thought Most didn’t emerge from their dens until March But when they did they were hungry The animal stood about fifty yards away Mitch knew he shouldn’t make 8
