James Makes a Choice

In James Makes a Choice, James and his brother Charles and his cousins Greg and April all live with Grandma and Grandpa McNair. Because times are tough, Grandma is going back to work. Everyone is getting an allowance for helping around the house. But James doesn’t think he should have to work. He makes more money by stealing with his friends! James tries to get Greg to join him—they could make a lot of money from Greg’s good deeds. When Greg says no, he warns James that stealing will get him in trouble and cause people not to trust him.
