The Future of Coding — page 3 — Others help people stay healthy Each device has its own job For example a touch screen near the girl shows a map of the city The screen helps her plan her travel It even tells her when the right bus will come The bus takes the girl to her grandpa’s apartment The apartment is filled with sensors Some sensors track her grandpa’s movement They send information to a smart system If he falls the system will call for help Other sensors track how much water and electricity he uses They measure how much trash he throws away This information goes to a smart system that helps reduce waste 6
