Black Adam and the Eternity War — page 9 — Wonder Woman yanked the creature off the mayor and swung it into a tree across the street The mummy shattered into a pile of dust Superman’s red cape billowed behind him as he landed in front of the entrance to the pyramid He used his super-breath to blow a group of mummies away from the crowd Lex said the Man of Steel turning to the bald man cowering behind his cape I know what you’re thinking But I had nothing to do with this said Lex Honest Before he could offer any proof two mummies grabbed Lex’s legs and dragged him to the ground While Superman punched the mummies reducing them to dust Lex scurried to his waiting helicopter Mercy Get me out of here NOW Lex commanded his pilot Lex buckled into his seat as the helicopter lifted off the ground A few mummies hanging from the copter’s tail tumbled off

Black Adam and the Eternity War — page 10 — As the crowd scattered in all directions dozens of ancient mummies spilled forth They rushed toward the entryway to the glass pyramid determined to get inside Superman and Wonder Woman retreated inside to fend them off but they were clearly outnumbered For every five mummies they destroyed ten more took their place There are too many of them shouted Superman He used his heat vision to burn a trench into the floor He hoped it would stop the mummies from advancing any further We must keep them from reaching the fusion energy core warned Wonder Woman Even a small crack could cause a nuclear meltdown that would destroy all of Metropolis A sudden gust of wind bumped her tiara and blew her hair across her face
