Wet and Dry helps emergent readers understand and differentiate between these opposites while providing them with a supportive first nonfiction reading experience. Carefully crafted text uses high-frequency words, repetitive sentence patterns, and strong visual references to support emergent readers, ensuring reading success by making sure they aren’t facing too many challenges at once. Wet and Dry includes tools for teachers as well as introductory nonfiction features such as labels, a table of contents, words to know, and an index. Wet and Dry is part of Jump!'s Opposites series.
