INTRODUCTION a TOT BOT have you ever wondered if robots could learn the same way kids Mdo Scientists have wondered about that for a long time So they built a robot kid Meet iCub a robot that looks and acts like a human child It is about the same size as a preschooler This pint sized robot uses motors to move cameras to see and microphones to hear It even has sensors in its skin so it knows when it's touching something This robot can learn new things just as you do by trying something again and again and eventually getting better at it Scientists hope that iCub can help them understand how to build robots that can learn by doing They also hope icub can tell us more about how real kids learn grow and
