The Littlest Mermaid Book is a story about mermaids with a twist. Deep down at the bottom, the sea was a land of mermaids. The mermaids played together and made merry. All the mermaids were pink in color, some plump, some skinny, yet they all looked the same. One fine day the littlest mermaid was born under the sea and as she swam out of her shell, other mermaids discovered that the mermaid was purple in color. Scared and startled, they swam back to their shells, abandoning the newborn. Outcast and lonely, the littlest mermaid played by herself and eventually became friends with other creatures in the sea like dolphins & horses. Time passed & the mermaids gathered again to welcome a new mermaid. However, they were shocked to discover that she was orange in color. So they abandoned her too. But the littlest mermaid and orange mermaid became friends and found a home in each other. Will the other mermaids accept them as their own or forever leave them stranded. The littlest mermaid book is a beautiful book about acceptance, change & being different.
