The Rise of Robert GRIFFIN III the star quarterback for the football team In his senior year he led the Bulldawgs to a 13 2 season and by the time he graduated he was rated as one of the best high school football players in Texas Robert s track form was if anything even more remarkable than his football ability He specialized in running the hurdles dreamed of running at the Olympic Games and set state records for the 110 meter and 300 meter hurdles In his junior year in 2007 Robert was ranked as the number one 400 meter and 110 meter hurdler in the country STAR STATS Robert s personal best time of 35 33 seconds for the 300 meter hurdles was just one hundredth of a second short of the national high school record a SAMA
THE RISE OF ROBERT GRIFFIN II Robert's decision to join Baylor was influenced by the quality of the university’s track and field program Robert still hoped to run one day at the Olympics and Baylor could help further that dream At the time Baylor had a poor record in the Big 12 Conference and was an unlikely choice for an ambitious young quarterback However after much soul searching Robert decided to go to Baylor University instead of Houston That decision marked the start of his remarkable rise to the National Football League NFL II
