Here at Epic, we\u2019re downright giddy about National Reading Month. A whole month to talk about the awesomeness of reading? Yes, please! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

What\u2019s National Reading Month? <\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Kicking off with Read Across America Day on March 2, National Reading Month is a month-long celebration of literacy. The goal is to inspire everyone to pick up a book and cultivate a lifelong love of reading\u2014\u2014something very close to our hearts as the world\u2019s largest digital library for kids!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We want kids to experience the joy of reading and all the life-changing benefits that come along with it\u2014benefits that extend beyond academic success. A recent study<\/a> found that reading for pleasure early in life correlated with better test scores but also increased mental health and sleep duration. And we know from our own research<\/a> that reading promotes confidence, creativity and curiosity in kids.

Let\u2019s face it: Reading is practically a superpower! We\u2019ll take any excuse to talk about it even more than we normally do. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
