After-school reading with Epic Free.
Epic Free gives students access to a free home library, allowing students to read on our platform after school (after 4 pm local time). On Epic Free, students get two free hours of reading a week that can be used Mon-Fri or on weekends. And since Epic Free isn’t a 30-day free trial, families don’t need a credit card to sign up.

How is Epic Free different from Epic School?
Epic Free is designed to help boost students’ reading habits after school. Unlike Epic School, Epic Free allows parents or guardians to access a dashboard to track student progress, reading history and more. It also lets you assign books from the Epic Free library that students can read after school on their own or with their parents!
The Epic Free library is more limited than Epic School (for example, Epic Free doesn’t include learning videos or audiobooks), but it still includes thousands of books, including Read-To-Me books.
Epic Unlimited for endless exploration.
Epic Unlimited has all the amazing features and content of Epic Free and more (including videos and audiobooks!). Plus with an ever-growing library, unlimited reading time, progress tracking, and fun interactive tools like our Reading Buddy, Epic Unlimited helps parents and guardians unlock their kids’ full potential—with a limitless selection of 40,000 popular and educational books, videos and audiobooks.
And guess what? NOW for a limited time, families can get up to 50% off on a 12-month plan. This special holiday offer expires Dec. 6, 2020. The best part is, each purchase of Epic Unlimited helps keep Epic School’s high-quality library free for teachers and students.
