Angel Sharks

Angel Sharks
Angel sharks are flat-bodied sharks that can reach lengths of 2.4m and are typically found submerged in sandy habitats in coastal waters. These sharks are harmless, but as with all marine creatures, they can be dangerous if provoked. These sharks are voracious eaters of crustaceans, molluscs, and fish. Angel sharks have white markings on their bodies that display different colours ranging from bright brown to light grey, allowing them to blend in with the surroundings deep within the waters. Many scuba divers hope to see this strange and wonderful species while diving. Angel sharks were once common in the seas of Europe. They are now among the most endangered fishes in European waters and are only one step away from extinction.
